Cook Up an Adventure (grades K-5)
Welcome to Portland Library's 2026 Summer Reading program, Cook Up an Adventure!
This program was created for kids going into grades K-5 to encourage lifelong reading habits.
How It Works
1) Pick up a reading log at the library or track your reading here or on the ReadSquared app.
2) Track your reading starting on June 22.
3) Log every day that you read for 20 minutes or more. Earn charms and other prizes every time you reach 5 days of reading.
